What wall thicknesses are available?
For massive (solid) logs: 19mm, 28mm, 35mm, 44mm, 58mm, and 70mm. For glulam (engineered) logs: 70mm, 88mm, 135mm, 180mm, and 220mm. Garden cabins typically use 28-44mm walls. Residential and year-round structures use 70mm+ for better insulation. Our team recommends the optimal thickness based on your climate and application.
Can you manufacture bespoke designs from my drawings?
Yes. Bespoke manufacturing is our specialty. Send us your sketch, floor plan, or key dimensions, and we'll prepare professional engineering drawings and 3D visualizations within 24 hours. Glulam construction allows longer spans without internal columns, making it ideal for open-plan modern designs. Unlimited revisions until you approve the final design.
Do you offer standard designs or only custom orders?
Both. We offer pre-engineered standard designs that are faster to produce (2-4 weeks) and lower cost. We also engineer fully custom designs from your specifications (4-8 weeks). What is the design process from concept to production?
Within 24 hours of receiving your sketch or dimensions, we deliver complete quotes with 3D visuals and engineering drawings. After your approval, production begins immediately—no delays. You receive updates at each stage: design approval, production start, completion, and shipping.
Do you provide 3D visualizations before production?
Yes. For all projects, we create detailed 3D models viewable from multiple angles. These visualizations include your company branding, different wood finish options, and can include landscape context if desired. Use these directly in your customer presentations to build confidence and reduce approval delays.
What technical files do I receive?
You receive complete CAD drawings (DWG format), PDF specifications, assembly instructions, 3D model files, and material lists—all branded with your company logo. Your architects, builders, and engineers can use these files for site planning, permitting, and installation. All files are yours to use for business purposes.
Do I need to hire an engineer for custom cabins?
No. Our engineering team handles all structural calculations, compliance checks, and technical specifications. We prepare drawings to Nordic and EU building standards. For UK installations, we provide documentation suitable for Building Regulations submission. How are log cabins shipped internationally?
Our in-house logistics team handles everything - exports, customs clearance, route planning, and delivery coordination. European deliveries use land transport (1-2 weeks). Overseas shipments go by ocean freight (4-12 weeks depending on destination). We provide realistic timelines during the quote process and keep you updated throughout shipping.
What is the typical timeline from order to delivery?
Production: Standard garden cabins 2-4 weeks, bespoke/glulam homes 4-8 weeks after design approval. Delivery: European destinations 1-2 weeks, UK 1-2 weeks, overseas 4-12 weeks depending on location. Do you handle UK customs clearance and import procedures?
Yes. Our logistics team manages UK import declarations, customs broker services, tariff classification, phytosanitary certificates (required for timber), and port clearance. What if a cabin is damaged during shipping?
Shipping damage is rare due to professional crating and protective materials. If damage occurs: document with photos upon arrival, report to your account manager immediately. We use slow-grown Nordic spruce from certified Scandinavian forests. This timber has tighter growth rings, providing superior density, stability, and natural rot resistance compared to faster-grown southern varieties. What warranty does Eurodita provide?
All products include warranty coverage subject to proper timber maintenance and care, including timely impregnation treatment. Specific warranty terms are confirmed with your order documentation. What manufacturing equipment do you use?
We manufacture with state-of-the-art European equipment: Nardi (Italy) drying kilns, SCM (Italy) window/door lines, Auer (Austria) CNC for garden cabins, and Hundegger (Germany) computer-controlled systems for glulam houses.
